Russellville has two National Register Historic Districts, and walking tours have been designed to highlight the historic sites.
The Downtown district was one of the earliest historic districts accepted into the National Register and features several antebellum homes and a variety of commercial, religious and government buildings. Click here for a map of the district.
The Bottoms district has just been recognized as a National Register District, and it is one of the most unique areas that tells the story of primarily African American life in Kentucky. Check back soon for a map of this district.
